Fender Duratone 880XL strings have been given a special treatment to make them more grime and dirt resistant. Thanks to this treatment, Duratone strings will last up to five times longer than strings without coating, without being detrimental to playability or tone. The gauges of these strings range from 0.010 to 0.048, making them suited for any type of music. Light strings are smoother to play than medium and heavy versions, and as such, we don't recommend them for guitarists who swap from electric to acoustic guitar.
